Fixing Red Ring Of Death

Like most hardcore avid Xbox 360 gamers, you have probably ran into a couple problems here and there with your expensive console and wondered if you can fix an Xbox 360. It sure does not feel good to save those hard earned dollars and invest into a state of the art system that has its fair share of problems. What happened Microsoft? Our hard earned dollars plunged into a pile of plastic that freezes and blanks out in the middle of your game. How annoying can that be.

Well as annoying as having your Xbox crash up on you when you least want it to, if you want to fix an Xbox 360 you have just entered into another realm of uncertainty. You are lucky if you are still under the manufacturers warranty on your Xbox 360 console, leaving you just to report the problem and ship your gaming system out. The downside to this is the amount of gaming downtime that happens which can extend up to 6 weeks! Can you just imagine it? 6 weeks without your Xbox 360 and playing your favorite game....definitely not fun.

And if you are out of luck and not under warranty, Microsoft will reach deep into your pockets and pull out at least $140 to repair your Xbox. And in most cases they replace your new system with a refurbished one. Just thinking about that makes you want to fix an Xbox 360 yourself, so you can save several hundred dollars over the lifetime of your Xbox 360. That is money can be best spent on more video games for you!
